Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
  • Courier costs for returns will be at the customer’s expense.

2. Out-of-Box Failures

2.1. Definition
An "Out-of-Box Failure" refers to a product that is not functioning as intended upon delivery.

2.2. Eligibility
If the item has an out-of-box failure, you must report it within 7 days of delivery.

2.3. Resolution

  • We will exchange the defective product at no additional cost to you.
  • The replacement process will be initiated promptly after receiving and inspecting the defective product.

3. Repairs

3.1. Manufacturer Warranty Repairs
All repair-related issues are handled through the manufacturer or supplier under their warranty policy.

3.2. Process

  • The product will be sent for repairs if a defect is identified after the 7-day exchange window.
  • We will assist by logging a repair request with the manufacturer or supplier on your behalf.
  • The repair process and timeline will depend on the manufacturer’s policy.

4. Conditions for Returns

To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following:

  • Products must be returned in original packaging with all accessories and documentation intact.
  • The customer is responsible for courier costs related to returns unless otherwise agreed.
  • Products damaged due to improper use or handling are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

5. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Report the issue to our customer service team via websales@tiekam.co,za, within the applicable timeframe (3 days for refunds or 7 days for out-of-box failures).
  2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. Return the product to the address provided by our team. Ensure proper packaging to avoid damage during transit.

6. Exceptions

  • Refunds or exchanges will not be processed for items not returned in their original condition, missing accessories, or without proper documentation.
  • Certain items (e.g., customized or final-sale products) may not be eligible for refunds or exchanges.
